Mindy and I were together most of this past weekend because Alex was down in Las Vegas. We went to work together Friday, and on Saturday Mindy came to my apartment and made really yummy waffles, while I kept sleeping. Then we went on a walk because the weather was sooo nice and looked at new houses, then Mindy studied and we ended our Saturday with some movies and pizza. Having Mindy to do everything with is so nice. I am going to miss her so much when we have to leave.

Alex came back from Las Vegas on Sunday evening with Dad. They drove up together, because Dad has some things to do in Salt Lake. It sounds like Alex enjoyed his trip to Las Vegas a lot. He was able to go to UNLV, study alot, and go with the family to the UNLV vs. BYU Basketball game. UNLV won 75-74 to a sold out crowd--sounds like a great game! His interview at UNLV went really well, and he was impressed with their program. It sounds like they were impressed with him too, because they e-mailed him Saturday morning telling him he was accepted. Now he has to decide if he will attend the University of Utah or UNLV. Both have lots of pros and cons. It is a very hard decision. Right now I am leaning for the U of U and Alex is leaning UNLV. We both know that either one would be great, and we have been blessed to get into both of them. It will be interesting to see where we end up.
